Talking Be able to buy human npc/enemies armour and wear it

I still remember my first time playing through this game and wondering to myself "Where can i buy that nifty mantle armour?" Alas, it was never to be. Even though i mentioned being able to buy/craft the armour of all humans, I'd be happy with just having manlte stuff. Specifically Justicar Hablions armour on my tank. But i guess if we'd be able to buy it from one people, we should be able to buy it from them all. Perhaps regular mantle armour could be what the lower end mantle wear and stuff like hablions armour be 15k stuff. This would apply to all npcs/enimies such as what cantha emperial guards wear(captains armours have a dragon on thier shoulder while normal guards don't) I understand not all the different people have armour sets for all profesions, but something could either be created or have it so that it's balanced out among the different classes to were some profeshion couldn't buy armour from certain npcs/enimies, but can from others.

I disagree, Allready you can Buy Hench's Armour From "____ The Exotic" in Factions, It just doesn't amke sense That you should eb able to OWN everything in the game, it takes off part of the individuality.

takes away from the individuality?
how does MORE armor, and MORE armor combinations take away from individuality in any way?

i think more armor is a great idea. it gets a tad redundant seeing every warrior with kurzick armor, exalted aegis, and a fellblade/sskai's sword/fds/etc.

I always hoped that Munne's armour would be the 15k version of the tormentor's set. Imagine my disappointment after the "tormentor's update" when my (already bought) 15k version of said armour-set turned out to be such a cheap reskin of the 1,5k version

It's really a waste that some awesome armour sets appear on just one tiny character in the whole game.
IIRC the female elementalist in foible's fair also has a "special"-skin armour which I haven't seen anywhere else in GW. Aziure too, of course ... even though I think her armour looks horrible .

This has come up a couple times before........

You may like the armor of some of the npc's, but it wouldn't make any sense for you to be able to get most of them. The White Mantle......... they are the enemy, why would you dress up like them?

It takes away from the individuality because each Anemy / Other person has there own Style. Confessor Dorian (At least I hope I'm talking about the rigth person) Is dressed up in yellowish white Cloth wih a big hat.

Imagine with every Monk would be able to wear it, New players would think "Oh its just another guy with that armour"

What I meant was it takes away from the individuality of the NPCs, not the players themselves.

And youa re saying its getting redudent Seeing always the same armour types? You are forgetting that every 6 Months there will be at least 3 new armour arts for each Proffession, Including the New ones that come out.

If thats not enough for your "armour combinations" then you are just greedy.

YES! I'm very greedy. All I want is Justicar Hablions armour on my tank. I guess I'll just have to go kill him(agian) and strip him of his armour and wear it myself.

And somethingt o think about, in 5 years from now (10 Expantions) Other then the Vetran players (us) Do you really beleive that there will be tones of people running around with 15k Gladiaor Armour? What was ounce abundant will be incredibly unique and scarce. Or Ascalon Armour. How amny people will have Feathered Longbows? Or even Drago's Flat for that matter. (Damn you Urgoz...) But thats off topic, the lack of syntax and repeating weapons with different skins priced on how "cool" they look is another issue.

The only thing that will be even more common will be FoW armour, seeing as it's core.

If this is implemented where eventually we will be able to get every armour off any NPC.... Eve's necro armour is awsome.

I really have no opinion on this. It would be awesome to have actual Ascalonian armor, a Krytan armor, a Shining Blade armor, and such, but if they dont add it I can understand. I do think they should add more unique armors that are more expensive/harder to get/ or maybe even green armor that drops from bosses.

And something to think about. Do you think in 5 years the game will still be around if they limit it to 3 new armors a profession for every expansion? Maybe it will, but with the same way of acquiring armor it will get boring after awhile, and even if just half the population think this then GW will get a lot less profit.

Not to mention we actually have to get to chap 8-10 before people are truly more unique with armors. In the mean time, we should just wait?

/signed but I dont care if its not implemented

I can see GW still being around in 5 years, Althought I don't see in 10 years.

What happens when they stop releasing expantions? Will the servers still be up? Will (For sake of argument) We still be able to play our Prophecies in A hundred years?

I would indeed love a 15k knights armor to be implemented, as its sexiness can blind most newcomers.

TO INFILTRATE, my good sir.
And don't tell me it's not a good idea. Wehrmacht had special forces dressed up as american GI's (they had captured Shermans too) that wreaked havoc in France.

Also, our characters are inducted into the white mantle for a short period. Factions has two distinct designs for the factions, and I can see where some people would like to wear something that a 'faction' which they wish to be associated with was wearing. It would be cool to see entire guilds in something distinctive as White mantle armor.
/why not? more armor of any kind would be awesome.

I want Cynn's armor.

Also, I wish they let us customize the looks of 15k armors; Noble armor looks awesome but has absolutely horrible stats.

I would get Quartermaster Aada's armor on the spot. I just love the look of that armor. Too bad I can't get it.
